5 ways to increase brain efficiency

IT is a field of intellectual work and without clarity of thought there is nowhere. But what to do if it becomes more and more difficult to concentrate and you feel that your brain does not work so effectively anymore? How to improve the efficiency of the brain?

1.Method 1: Limit the flow of information

There is too much information in today’s world, most of which you simply do not need. Filter what goes into your head. Turn off the news, unsubscribe from unnecessary publicity, and limit your time on social media. Not only does it devour time and energy, but it also clutters your head and creates a feeling of fog in your head. We have as much junk in our heads as some people have on their desks. We’re constantly spinning the same thoughts, problems, and doubts in our minds. There are many cleaning techniques, one of the easiest is to write out all thoughts and emotions on paper/electronic notepad. Try to write every morning or evening on a sheet of paper everything that you are thinking about now. You will notice the effect immediately, but the technique works especially well if you do it regularly.

The second point is to offload all tasks from your head into a notepad or app. Your brain uses up its energy to constantly remember your entire list of tasks – who to call, who to congratulate, what to buy. Just move it from your head to your planner.

3. Method 3: Asymmetrical gymnastics

The easiest and fastest way to engage both hemispheres of your brain and help yourself focus better on the task at hand. You’ve definitely heard of this kind of gymnastics, such as holding your nose with one hand and your ear with the other, and changing hands when you clap. Or twisting your arms in different directions. Or you show a class with one hand and doodle with the other and change hands quickly. There are dozens of exercises like that. You just have to choose 3-5 and repeat each one for 30-60 seconds. At a minimum – it’s fun, at a maximum – you’ll really feel that the fog is gone from your head and it’s easier to concentrate.

A very, very controversial point, but we can’t put it down, for the topic is hot. They prolong wakefulness time, improve concentration, and generally increase brain efficiency. There are synthetic and natural based neuroleptics. Most drugs have been researched and are considered safe, but! There is no data on the long-term health effects of these brain stimulants. 5. Method 5: Quality Recreation

This is where you should have started, well, we’ll finish. Rest is the most important thing in staying productive. If you’re constantly thinking about something, you create a “washed out eye” effect – your brain just starts to ignore some of the information, and it becomes harder to generate ideas.
